Can i just say. i love reading, and writing, and the process of thinking through things and coming up with new ideas. i love the life of the mind. And increasingly, if i had to choose between a good book that i love, and the humdrum companionship of people i don't quite get and who don't quite get me, i'd choose the book.

And i still miss my Class That Shouts -- because they could do both: think, and be absolutely freakin' hilarious. There aren't too many people in my life like that these days.
