Funny (hilarious!) conversation with a bunch of artists about the difference between being an artist and being a writer:

Artist 1:  You know, the thing with writers is that you guys are so articulate.
.
Artist 2: Yeah. i find it hard to talk about my work, but when i read writers writing about their writing, i can identify with so much that they feel.
.
Me: Hmmmm... that's interesting... cos i always read stuff where writers are basically whining about how hard it is to write.
.
Artist 2: Oh, artists whine too...!
.
Artist 1: Yeah we whine all the time, it's just that we don't write about it...
.
Artist 2: Cos we can't find the words, we can't express how we feel in writing...
.
Artist 1: But actually the creative process, the problems, it's all very similar...
.
Me: Ah... So it's not that writing is any more difficult than anything else. It's just that writers are better at whining about it!
