both sides now

i didn't think i'd find another cover version of this song that i like almost as much as Joni Mitchell's 2000 live performance. i think that 2000 version still takes the cake with the icing and cherry on top -- simply because it was sung by the songwriter herself after many decades of looking at clouds and love and life, and because JM is such a musician. But this version is interesting and creative, with a whimsical, quirky piano part, and presents quite a different take on the song from the other versions i've heard before.
