Christmas thoughts

i'm not sure that i'm having particularly merry-Christmassy thoughts this Christmas, really. Because what i'm thinking is that Christ had a really tough life from start to finish, and that life is difficult and complicated and everyone has their problems and baggage. And yet, there is the faith that God is in there somewhere -- a faith that i won't, can't, let go of, because i have seen that it's true.
