mine eyes are not o' the best
i've always known that i'm bad at recognising faces. But it was only two days ago that i learnt that this may actually be due to a neurological condition, and that the problem has a name: prosopagnosia, or face blindness.
In fact, researchers at Harvard and University College London are conducting studies on it right now. Read all about it here.
i tried the Old-New Face Test on the site, and scored a below-average 62%. Most of my friends' scores were in the 90s. The average score, apparently, is 85%. People who score below 75% may have face recognition problems.
So it appears i may have a neurological disorder. Which, come to think of it, is probably not much of a surprise... ;P

Just did the Cambridge Face Recognition Test - a more "official"-looking test than the one i did 3 years ago. 58% this time. Apparently most people score above 80%. If you score less than 65%, you may have face recognition problems. Haha.
