lesson learned

i'm too trusting. Or rather, i want too much to believe that people are good, that i can take them at their word, that they don't have some hidden agenda -- even when my intuition tells me otherwise. Well. Let this then be the year of learning a very important life lesson. Listen to your intuition, dammit. It's almost never been wrong.
