Trust JL to be able to turn life round and see things from a different (and alliterative!) perspective. Crossroads - places where one learns how to choose, where one learns the difficult lesson of responsibility. Yes, God actually does give us choices in the finite span of our here and now, and it is in making these choices that we finally start growing up.
